What virtual staging does for a vacant listing
Virtual staging starts with the real photo of the real room. We furnish the room digitally, matched to its light, scale and perspective, so the result reads as a furnished room, not a rendering. The walls, floors, windows and view are the ones a buyer will see at the showing.
Because the photo underneath is from our HDR photography, the staged image keeps the same clear windows, straight verticals and true color as the rest of the gallery. A staged living room sits next to the unstaged kitchen without a visible change in quality.
You pick which photos to stage. Stage the rooms that sell the home and leave the rest as shot.
An older brick colonial in Richmond and a new build in Glen Allen should not be furnished the same way. Furniture is matched to the home.
Virtual twilight: a dusk exterior from a daytime photo
A twilight exterior makes a strong cover image. Virtual twilight produces that image from the daytime exterior your photographer already shot: the sky is replaced with dusk, the windows glow warm, and the exterior lights come on.
A virtual twilight exterior is included in the Silver, Gold, Platinum, Sapphire and Diamond packages. On a Bronze shoot, or for extra angles on any package, it is a per-photo add-on in the cart.
If you want the real thing, we also shoot true twilight photography at dusk. Twilight Photos are $300 as a separate session, and they are built into The Luxury package, where the twilight is photographed, not edited.
Related per-photo edits: renovation, item removal, TV and fire replacement
The same edits that make a photo set clean are priced per item and ordered the same way as staging:
- Virtual renovation, $45 a photo. The room shown with updated finishes, so a buyer can see what a dated kitchen or bath could become.
- Item removal, $6 a photo. A trash can, a hose, a car in the driveway, or a seller’s personal items taken out of the shot.
- Fire replacement, $5 a photo. A lit fire in a cold fireplace. Fire replacement is included in the Gold, Platinum, Sapphire and Diamond packages.
- TV replacement, $5. A blank or reflective TV screen replaced.
- Property lines, $10 a photo. An approximate lot boundary drawn on a drone photo from public parcel data, so acreage reads at a glance. The lines are approximate and not a survey.

How to order, and what you receive
Everything on this page is a line item in the booking cart. Pick your package or a la carte photos, then set the quantity for virtual staging, virtual twilight or any other edit. If you decide on site that a room needs staging after all, tell the photographer and our office adds it to your order.
Finished media is delivered through your Priceless Productions property page, with MLS and print sizes.

How much does virtual staging cost in Richmond?
Virtual staging is $35 per photo through Priceless Productions. You choose which photos to stage when you book, or tell the photographer on site.
Which packages include a virtual twilight exterior?
Silver, Gold, Platinum, Sapphire and Diamond each include one virtual twilight exterior. The Luxury package includes real twilight photography at dusk instead. Bronze does not include twilight, but a virtual twilight can be added per photo.
What is the difference between virtual twilight and twilight photography?
Virtual twilight is an edit of a daytime exterior, priced per photo. Twilight photography is a separate session at dusk, $300, where the photographer captures the home with the real sky and real lights on.
Can virtual staging be added to a shoot that is already booked?
Yes. Call or text (804) 302-4116 and we add it to your order, or tell the photographer on site and our office updates the order. The edit is applied to the photos from that shoot.
